Alan's dinghies

These are the dinghies I have built in order
First an Eastport Pram:


Then a Stornoway:
Next a Barrow Boat Nutshell:

Then I turned to canoes. First was a Cinderella Canoe designed by Gavin Atkins:



Then a modified Cinderella:



Then the most demanding canoe, a cedar strip Prospector:



Now back to Dinghies with a small rowing boat:

    I am now starting a Romney 2.2. Does anybody have any experience of this craft?

    I have marked out the planks and am cutting them out. I am also making a a set of templates so that it will be easy to reporduce the planks in future. I cut out the first set with a mincircular saw. Then I roughly draw round the plank shapes on a new sheet of ply. Cut them out roughly and and use a router to form identical copies.
